SEPTEMBER NATTER 'N NOGGIN
Grappas Cellar, basement of Jardine House, 1 Connaught Road, Central
Wednesday 9 September, 7:00 pm onwards
Graham Allen and Carl Yuen have kindly volunteered to be joint hosts of this month's Natter, which will be a week later than usual on the second Wednesday of September. To help those members who have difficulty reaching Sai Kung in midweek, the venue will be Grappas in Central, an Italian restaurant noted for its good food, good beer (one of the rare Hong Kong Brewery outlets) and weekend jazz. Some of those things at least will be on offer at the Natter, when for the modest price of HK$100 a head, you will be able to partake of a finger buffet and one standard drink, or maybe two if the budget runs to it. Additional drinks can be purchased at reasonable rates. On this occasion, please do not bring your own wine or beer.
All MG Car Club members and guests (18 or over) are welcome. If you haven't been to one of the Natters before, this is a good opportunity to meet other MG lovers in a relaxing social atmosphere, and glean useful information or advice on how to get the most from your car. So that we can get an accurate idea of numbers, please e-mail Graham at gallen01@netvigator.com by Monday 7 September latest if you plan to come.
Sunday Drive & BBQ,

To ring the changes, this month's Sunday MG drive is being switched
from a morning to a late afternoon start and will finish in the cool of
the evening with a BBQ buffet. Bring the family, bring your MGs
or other suitable cars, and come to join the fun! Angus Chan and
Billy Cheung are kindly organising this event for us.
Meeting Point and Time: University Station public car park,
promptly at 16:30 hrs
Finishing Point: Tai Mei Tuk BBQ King, 66 Tai Mei Tuk Village,
Tai Po
Price: Around HK$100 per head excluding drinks

JULY NATTER 'N NOGGIN,
WEDNESDAY 8 JULY
You will be happy to hear that a volunteer has kindly stepped forward
to host our July Natter, which will moved back one week to the evening
of Wednesday 8 July, as 1 July is a public holiday. Further
details will follow shortly, but please mark the date in your diary NOW.
If you would like to do
your little bit for the Club and be a Natter host in 2009, please
contact the MemSec. Don't leave it to the same few regulars. We are
always looking for new venues, particularly on HK Island.
